Quick question?

Can't figure out a pattern notation? Not sure of the difference between a long tail and German long tail cast-on? Magic ring not magic ring-ing? What in the heck is a half double crochet increase? Stop by and ask us; as long as we have a spare moment, we're glad to help out.

You're more likely to catch us having free time in the early afternoons on Tuesday and Wednesdays, but we're always happy to look at what's going on and try to help. Worst case scenario is that if we're not familiar with the technique, we can learn along with you!

Have a longer question? Arrange a private lesson to make sure you have our one-on-one attention. Use the contact form below to ask!

Want to sign up for a class?

Half of the fun of crafting is the learning. Whether you want to pick up a new cast on or bind off, figure out how to work a new stitch pattern, start your first amigurumi, or work your very first stitch, we want to be part of your learning journey.

We have a few different options for classes, depending on where you are and what you want to learn.

For Beginning Knitters

We offer classes in six week blocks. In general, there are classes on Mondays from 4:30–6:30 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM. There are also classes on Thursdays from 7:00–9:00PM. Before you sign up for one of these classes, we politely ask that you know at least the basics of casting on, and the knit stitch, with purling as a bonus. If you aren't even sure which end of the needle you stick into the yarn, it's best to sign up for a private lesson before the first class. These classes tend to be focused on meeting knitters where they are; you bring a project and we help you when you get stuck.

For Crochet

For crochet, we have found that one-on-one lessons tend to be more helpful. We schedule 30 minute sessions in afternoons. We regularly have times available on Tuesdays between 4:00–6:00PM, but other times may be possible.

Want to spend some time with fellow fiber artists?

Each Wednesday, from 4:30–6:30PM, we have an open stitch night. You are welcome to bring whatever project you are working on and spend some time with fellow crafters. Annie and Kay are often available and can answer questions as time allows, but the store is open during this time. Your fellow crafters may be able to help when you get stuck!

No sign-ups are necessary.
