Schacht-Reeves Saxony Double-treadle wheel

Schacht has gotten together with Rick and Marge Reeves to create a Schacht saxony wheel. The wheels are available:

• in either 24" or 30" diameter.

• with single or double treadle.

• in ash or cherry wood. (They will be making wheels in ash first, so the cherry will take longer.)

Note: The Schacht-Reeves flyer shaft is 5/16” diameter (versus the original Reeves 1⁄4” diameter). This means that the bobbins for the Schacht-Reeves wheel can’t be used on prior Reeves-made wheels.
