Fibers, Accessories & Supplies
Mind's Eye Yarns carries a wide variety of natural fibers and yarns for spinning and knitting, as well as spinning wheels from Ashford and Schacht, and accessories such as drop spindles, knitting needles, crochet hooks, felting needles, swifts, ball winders, and more.
We offer:
- Fibers are available in a variety of colors and preparations for both spinning and felting projects.
- Beautiful handspun yarns in many colors and a variety of fibers are always available.
- Luxurious alpaca, mohair, silks, and camel down can also be found.

Raggi 70%
wool/30% nylon, 4.5-5 sts/inch
This is a mid-gauge sock yarn, great for boot socks and
slippers. I can also be used for hardwearing, washable
children’s clothes. We stock Raggi in a wide
range of multicolors and ragg wool blends. There are a
number of nice neutrals for those who don’t like
the more flashy colors.

This is the Raggi in more of standard sock weight.

Cash Vero is a cashmere/ merino blend that’s wonderfully soft, a dream to work with, and resists pilling.

acrylic/12% cashmere, 4-5 sts/inch
This is a delicious, cushy yarn in a medium weight, good
for almost any project.
Amity
Print 75% acrylic/25%
wool, 5 sts/inch
This is the machine-wash-and-dry Amity in beautiful multicolors.
Magallanes 100%
wool, hand dyed, 5 sts/inch
This is a wonderful thick-and-thin hand-dyed wool yarn
from Araucania. It has beautiful colorways and very good
yardage.
Ranco 75%
wool/25% polyamide, 7.5 sts/inch
This is the other Araucania yarn I’ve introduced.
It has many of the same gorgeous colorways as the Magallanes,
but in a sock yarn.
We also carry Jewel Hand Dyed, Baby Alpaca Chunky, Wonderful Wool, Cascade 220, and Noro Kureyon and Silk Garden, to name a few.
The hand-dyed yarns that we sell in our Etsy store are available in the Cambridge shop, too. Below are photos of some recently dyed merino blend superwash sock yarns; we also carry other types and weights.
Please note that because yarns are hand-dyed in relatively small lots availability of specific yarns and colors may vary.
